They very seldom consider that she has much substance, but they are proud of her looks and her modeling career. They do not like the way she lives, and frequently tell her so. Her frequent appearances in the press keep them very concerned. She is amused by her sister Anne's ambitions, but secretly cheers her on, as she and Anne share the same feelings towards their father. Anne and Mary have a tense, sort of sarcastic relationship with eachother, but they do know how to back one another up when it counts. Mary's relationship with her brothe George is not a very close one, but they do get along.
